Real Madrid have reached a formal agreement with Porto, which requires the transfer of Brazilian Idir Milito, to the Merenji for six seasons, starting from the summer transfer period.
Real Madrid's brief statement said the defender's contract would end in June 2025, the first deal for new French coach Zinedine Zidane, who recently took over, replacing Santiago Solari.
Spanish press reports indicate that the deal will cost Real Madrid nearly 50 million euros, the value of the penalty clause for the player.
The Brazilian had 34 appearances in his first season with Porto, and he showed up at a great level. He has the ability to develop and has the personality that makes him play for Real Madrid. Thanks to this brilliance, he was called to Brazil to face Panama and the Czech Republic this month.
A number of European clubs have also been targeting Brazilian defender Militato, most notably Juventus.
