Chebbakia sweets is widely known in Western Maghreb countries such as Algeria, Tunisia and Libya, where many people prefer to present them on public holidays, special occasions and in the holy month of Ramadan.
It is characterized by its delicious taste and its great benefits to the body because it contains many minerals and vitamins.


the ingredients:

  1. Six cups of mixed flour.
  2. One quarter teaspoon of finely ground cinnamon powder.
  3. A pinch of finely ground cloves powder.
  4. Two teaspoons of baking powder.
  5. One quarter tablespoon of instant yeast.
  6. Two eggs.
  7. A cup of finely ground sesame.
  8. A cup of soft tenderness. A cup of liquid milk.
  9. A quarter cup of cast water.
  10. Half a cup of natural vinegar.
  11. Two cups of vegetable corn oil for frying.


Presentation ingredients:

  1. A large glass of natural honey.
  2. Two cups of diameter.
  3. Two tablespoons of sesame.

How to prepare:


  1. Place the flour, cinnamon powder, clove powder, baking powder, yeast, eggs, sesame, butter, liquid milk, cast water, vinegar in the blender, and operate it to a medium degree.
  2. Mix all ingredients together well for at least a minute to get a cohesive and soft paste.
  3. Form the dough into a harmonic disc shape, place it in a deep dish, and close it with a piece of nylon or a plastic lid, and place it in a warm place for about 10 minutes to 15 minutes to rest well.
  4. Place a quarter of the dough on a steel plate sprinkled with a small amount of flour, and extend it well using the juice.
  5. Cut the paste into rectangular pieces by the sprouting cutter, and make longitudinal incisions in each piece.
  6. Take a piece of dough, place it in the inside of the hand, and insert the index finger between the cracks, so that three pieces of the paste over the finger, and two pieces under the finger to form alabacia, gently press the ends of the nettle to become like the net.
  7. Place the resulting skewers in a tray of the oven, and continue in the same way to finish the whole quantity.
  8. Place the oil in a wide pan over medium heat, leaving it until slightly heated.
  9. Place the diameter and honey in a deep dish and mix them, and put the skimp in the oil, stir well with a spoon with holes, leaving it for ten minutes until brown.
  10. Remove the water from the oil, and put it in the mix of diameter and mix well.
  11. Place the dish in a serving dish, and sprinkle with sesame directly.
