Paris-St Germain midfielder Neymar confirmed that he had received great support from Argentine star Lionel Messi in the most difficult period he had experienced when he was a Barcelona player.
"I tell this to the whole world now, the moment I needed to help, the best player in the world gave me a big hug," the Spanish daily Marca quoted Neymar, who is currently in Brazil, recovering from a foot injury.
"This is difficult, to be right, this is very difficult," he said. "Leo was a special person for me in Barcelona."
The Brazilian star revealed that Messi told him when he arrived in Barcelona, that "he is here to help him," and asked him not to feel afraid of him, or any one inside the Spanish club.
"I could not accept it this time," Neymar said of his reaction after suffering a final injury at the Strasbourg game
